Not only does our Salted Caramel Drinking Chocolate make a tasty hot drink, it can also be used to make a syrup- perfect for using in our Salted Caramel, Chocolate Milkshake recipe!
Here’s how to make the syrup:
Ingredients:
- 175g evaporated milk
- 100g Mortimer Chocolate Salted Caramel Drinking Chocolate
Method:
- In a microwavable bowl, whisk together the evaporated milk and the chocolate powder
- Microwave on full for 1 minute
- Remove from the microwave and whisk until smooth
- Allow the syrup to cool
To make the milkshake:
Ingredients:
- 1 mug of milk
- 2-3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 1 tbsp Salted Caramel Syrup (see recipe above)
- (Optional: whipped cream)
Method:
- Add the milk, ice cream and syrup into a blender
- Blend all the ingredients together until smooth
- Spread some of the syrup around the inside of a glass
- Pour the milkshake into the glass
- Add whipped cream, a sprinkle of chocolate powder on top and a straw, and enjoy!
